Was born in 1978 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Live and work in Sydney, Australia.

In 1995 enrolled to the Ural State Pedagogical University, the Faculty of Physics. The same year began to practice rock-climbing and mountaineering.

In 2000 graduated as a teacher of physics, natural science and IT. During post-graduate education was working as a lector at the Ural State Pedagogical University until 2003. In 2003 finished the post-graduate classes with specialization in Thermal Physics and Theoretical Heating Engineering. Have several articles in Russian and foreign scientific journals.

During scholar’s years was running career in mountaineering. In 2000 in the age of 22 became the youngest Champion of Russia in national mountaineering championship. Won silver and bronze prizes in 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005. In the age of 26 became a captain of regional mountaineering team. In the age of 27 won silver prize as a playing coach of regional mountaineering team.

In 2005 moved from Yekaterinburg to Moscow and worked as an engineer in mobile communication. In February 2006 accepted an invitation to guide Everest expedition. Since then started mountain guide career. During the next several years was organizing up to 15 expeditions annually.

Currently run my own project related to social and alpine environment.
